Welcome to our new, online auction to support community conservation projects such as nature recreation and education opportunities for all ages; commemorative woods and accessible trails; parks and conservation areas; and more.
We hope this online auction is a fun and easy way to support conservation projects in the watershed community.
This is a pilot project and it’s all in the support of charity – so we ask for your understanding as we give this a try.

Online Auction Rules and Instructions
The online auction is a new pilot project and rules are subject to change. We ask for your patience as we learn the technology. Please call us or email us if there are any problems with placing a bid. The Conservation Dinner Committee will do its best to administer the auction but we cannot be held responsible for any errors that may arise. Thank you for your patience and for your support of these worthy causes.
Here are the rules for this new way to support the Conservation Dinner all year long.
You may place bids of the reserve price. You may also bid higher amounts based on the listed incremental increase of $10 per bid.
You may also click on the ‘Buy Now’ button and, if the item is still available, purchase the item at the listed buy-now price.
If this does not work, you may try to send your bids by email to: email Publicity Committee with ‘Online Auction Bid’ in the subject line.
We cannot be held responsible if there are errors or problems for reasons including technical issues.
Bidders must be 18 years of age or older to take part in the auction.
Bidders are required to honour all high bids.
Each increase in bidding must meet or exceed the minimum bid increment of $10.
Closing bids are determined on the bidding close date, which is located underneath the photo.
Auctions may be closed or reopened at anytime at the wish of the Conservation Dinner website administrators.
Successful bidders will be contacted as soon as we are able by e-mail and/or telephone (please ensure we have an accurate e-mail address).
Please note the closing date of the item.
Payment for items must be received with two (2) weeks of bid closing.
The Conservation Dinner reserves the right to make changes at any time or withdraw the auction item at any time.
The Conservation Dinner cannot be held responsible for any technical problems or errors which may occur.
Prices are subject to change and correction at any time.

If you’ve bid successfully on any item, you can then proceed to make payments for it. Payments must be received by the Conservation Dinner Committee within two weeks of the bid closing.
Payments can be made by VISA, MasterCard, money order or cheque. Payment with credit card can be made by fax at (519) 235-1963, or by phone, toll-free, at 519-235-2610 or 1-888-286-2610.

Please make cheques payable to ‘Conservation Dinner.’ (‘Online auction’ can be added on the memo line of your cheque if you wish).
Please note that all Canadian purchases are subject to 5% GST and any applicable provincial sales taxes (e.g., 8% in Ontario).
All net proceeds support the work of the Conservation Dinner Committee (Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation, Exeter Lions Club, Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority) to support community conservation programs such as accessible trails, commemorative woods, conservation education and recreation, parks and conservation areas, etc.

It would be helpful if the item could be picked up at 71108 Morrison Line, one concession east of Exeter, Ontario.
If the winning bidder requires the item to be shipped out of the area, extra charges would be added for shipping and handling.
Merchandise will be shipped out from the Conservation Dinner Committee as soon as possible after payment is received. Please allow a minimum of 2-3 weeks for delivery of items.
Purchasers residing outside of Canada are responsible for the payment of customs clearance, duty, brokerage and shipping upon delivery of goods.
Any product or shipment going to the United States must include the purchaser’s Social Security Number. U.S. Customs will not allow any shipment without this information.
