Proud Partners of the Conservation Dinner Committee

The Conservation Dinner’s success in supporting programs in local communities is only possible thanks to the partnership of the Exeter Lions Club.

The Exeter, Ontario Lions Club has been a partner for more than three decades in the Conservation Dinner, a charitable community fundraising auction.

The Exeter Lions Club, chartered in 1937, is part of the world’s largest and most active service organization. It is a group of service-minded men and women banded together to do things which cannot be done by individuals working alone.

The Exeter Lions Club is pleased to partner with the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation, along with generous community donors, patrons and guests, artists and volunteers, to present this wonderful gala charitable dinner and accompanying live auction, silent auction, special raffles , general raffles, and more.

The Lions Club is proud to be part of a volunteer Conservation Dinner Committee that has raised more than 1.335 million dollars for community improvements such as accessible trails, nature recreation and education, conservation areas and parks; commemorative woods; and more, in local communities.

The club’s involvement in fundraising for the continuing development and maintenance of the South Huron Trail, MacNaughton Park, and other nature and conservation projects, are examples of service in action.

Working with additional partners, we have seen our dream of a recreational and educational trail come to fruition with the MacNaughton-Morrison Section of the South Huron Trail including Jones Bridge, a new Pedestrian Bridge on the South Huron Trail.

These and other achievements make our purpose and efforts worthwhile and rewarding for all.

Thanks to everyone for your support.
